a little bit of everything

Postingan kali ini adalah postingan non-PhD, cape juga mengkritik diri sendiri haha… Kali ini temanya adalah hidup sehat dan bebas stress. Yahuuuuu…. Mari mari…

Akibat stress terpendam yang dilampiaskan dengan makan enak di Jepang tanpa kontrol, alhasil gw meng-super gendut dalam 5,5 tahun terakhir ini. Bayangkan, gw naik 20 kilo dong hahahaha, seru beneerrr. Gapapa, menikmati hidup mumpung masih blum penyakitan *excuses excuses*. Sebenernya concern gw cuman satu, dua ding. Bukan gendut dan tidak seksi, tapi baju pada gak muat dan ngos2an pas jalanan mendaki dikit . Kalau saja gw adalah milyuner, bisa tinggal blanja baju dan mobil.. sayangnya bukan belum *optimisssss*.

Dengan niat gak niat, akhirnya gw mulai melirik olahraga. Secara kita mahasiswa miskin begitu, gak mampu ke gym atau ikut kelas khusus atau beli alat khusus, maka kriteria utama adalah terjangkau. Lalu, untuk mempertahankan motivasi, olahraga itu perlu menyenangkan, benar? Kemudian, effortnya cukup tapi tidak berlebihan. Alias, dekat dari rumah. Dengan tiga kriteria itu, sejauh ini ada tiga jenis olahraga yang udah pernah gw coba dan I looove them all. Apa aja coba?

Notes: Occasionally, gw ngepost lirik lagu2 yang gw suka. Biasanya adalah lagu2 super favorit yang ga bakal bosen sepanjang masa. Berhubung doi gak spontaneously romantic (kebanyakan mikir ah, kamu), jadi gw aja yang ngambil inisiatif: Lagu yang satu ini, gw angkat sebagai theme song jatuh cinta bulan ini. Because,

I read a note my Grandma wrote back in 1923. Grandpa kept it in his coat, and he showed it once to me. He said: ”Boy, you might not understand, but a long, long time ago, Grandma’s daddy didn’t like me none. But I love your Grandma so. We had this crazy plan to meet and run away together. Get married in the first town we came to and live forever. But nailed to the tree where we were supposed to meet, instead, I found this letter, and this is what it said:

If you get there before I do, don’t give up on me. I’ll meet you when my chores are through. I don’t know how long I’ll be. But I’m not gonna let you down. Darling, wait and see. And between now and then, til I see you again,  I’ll be loving you. #Love, Me.”

I read those words just hours before my Grandma passed away, in the doorway of the church where me and Grandpa stopped to pray. I know I’ve never seen him cry in all my fifteen years, but as he said these words to her, his eyes filled up with tears:

Personal note:

Very romantic, I feel like reading the letter to you. It’s just a little over 2 years, but it’s been the happiest years of my life. I hope we will have had a long happy life together by the time I decide to say these words to you. Thank you for the red rose.
